How to train new orthodontic technicians
Friday 4-6 pm, 2017 / Room: Spicewood I & II
This clinic will address the various problems that occur when training new orthodontic technicians, including where to look for prospective candidates, how to test them, and what to look for when testing and interviewing. The clinic will also discuss the basic science behind the materials used in the orthodontic laboratory, that will give a better understanding of how things work for new trainees.
The objective of this clinic is to offer an open format for the exchange of ideas, information, and experiences about hiring new technicians, and teaching basic designs and techniques.
