This course will discuss a team approach to modern implant dentistry. This will cover a broad range of treatments, both fixed and removable with overlapping discussion on restorative space management, restorative material selection, occlusion and communication. An emphasis on new technology and how it can control costs and improve communication across the surgical, restorative and laboratory phases.

Bio:
Dr. Harris originally started in dentistry through his training as a fixed crown and bridge technician for five years. He attended the University of Louisville School of Dentistry (ULSD), and graduated in 2004. At the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio as a Prosthodontic resident, he completed is certification as a lab technician. In 2011 he was Board Certified and is a Diplomate of the American College of Prosthodontics. He is currently Co-director of the Prosthodontic residency at ULSD, and maintains a practice limited to implant, fixed and removable Prosthodontics. He teaches the residents the importance of diagnosis, inter-disciplinary treatment with other specialist’s and evidence based treatment. He is a national lecturer in dental implants and restorative dentistry.
