Bio:

Dr. Richard Zimmermann graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1997, after which he completed an AEGD and received advanced prosthodontic training in the US Navy. After leaving the Navy, he became an Assistant Clinical Professor at UT Dental, San Antonio. Dr. Zimmermann is currently the Director of both the Digital Dentistry Program and Comprehensive Dentistry Implant Surgical Selective. He works with emerging software with a focus on both custom abutments and virtual implant planning for guided surgery.

This hands-on course provides a review recent advances related to implant therapy. From visualizing the proposed implant site to virtually planning the placement to designing the surgical guide, digital dentistry allows for numerous benefits to the implant therapy team.

Laptops and 2 Dental Technician instructors will be provided by Straumann so that you will be able to actually manupulate the software while an expert looks on.
