Dental Logistics Associate
Job Description: The Dental Logistics Associate is an important member of our team. This position is expected to assist with the smooth flow of processes associated in the new case inbound and outbound to manufacturing logistics department. This position includes opening of boxes, detailed documentation for new cases, monitoring of our logistics floor, pouring, grinding, and preparation of models for cases to be sent to manufacturing. This person is expected to be hard working with a positive attitude and follow the team leader and assist as needed.
New Case Receiving:
Receive, unpack, document, disinfect, and prepare all new incoming cases
Match models to correct pans by utilizing pan # prior to scanning or shipping
Pour and grind models from impressions sent by customers
Trim models for preparation of scanning or shipping to manufacturing
Outbound to Manufacturing:
Assist with QC of new cases as instructed by QC lead prior to manufacturing
Properly & accurately fill out outgoing manufacturing slips
Ship repairs, any non-ship cases to manufacturing
Scan models and bite to manufacturing to be processed
Record last name and SO# on the model prior to scanning / packaging to manufacturing
Assist with the generation of shipping labels / batches
Packaging of all cases post shipping to manufacturing
All other duties assigned by team lead or management
Help as needed.
Report problems and concerns to management.
Clean and disinfect your work area daily and thoroughly every Friday. Perform tasks needed by your team lead
