Mr. Simmons is to speak to a group of Dental lab owners and managers at this years DLAT Business Symposium held in Galveston, Texas, September 12th and 13th.

Mr. Simmons has asked that if any one has any special questions or issues you would like to hear about in the realm of employment law he will reasurch them and make sure they are covered in his PowerPoint presentation. William T. (Tommy) Simmons serves as legal counsel for Commissioner Andrade, the Commissioner representing employers at the Texas Workforce Commission, where he advises the Commissioner on final-level unemployment and wage claim appeals, assists business groups with employment-related legislation, and counsels employers on Texas and federal employment laws. Mr. Simmons has served as legal advisor to the Commissioner representing employers since 1987 and has given over 1900 talks before employer groups. He is the author of the book Especially for Texas Employers and is also the editor of the Employment Law Handbook of the Texas Association of Business. In 2012, the Texas Association of Business presented Mr. Simmons with its Lifetime Friend of Employers Award.
