Bio:
John Haupt FAACD is the founder and president of Haupt Dental Lab Inc. He lectures both nationally and internationally on Bioesthetic and cosmetic dental laboratory procedures. John Haupt received his Accreditation status with the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD) in 1992 and in 1996 obtained his Fellowship. He has served as a Chairman of the Lab Accreditation Committee as well as a member on The Board of Directors for the AACD. He is a currently a faculty member and board member for the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry.

Bio:
Ryan Haupt is Manager of Operations at Haupt Dental Laboratory. HDL is a full service dental laboratory in Brea, CA with more than 40 years of history specializing in esthetic reconstructions as well as implant prosthetics. Mr. Haupt has extensive experience in case design, treatment planning, and chair side support. He has lectured for many Study Clubs as well as corporate education forums.

In regards to any dental procedure, the mandible may assume two positions as reference for executing a treatment plan: centric relation (CR) and maximum intercuspation (MI) or centric occlusion.
Several authors and professors and clinicians recognized by their understanding of gnathologic function, coincide in the assertion of considering CR as physiological goal in a restorative position to prevent accelerated wear of the restorative materials.
This presentation will suggest different methods of how to record a more stable Centric Relation position for mounting the models on a Semi – adjustable articulator before making the provisional temporary implant supported hybrids.
