Design and Fit Ultaire AKP High-Performance Polymer Partial Frameworks
Description of Course:
He will be speaking twice on this subject, Saturday 8 am and 10am
The purpose of this presentation is to introduce technicians to Ultaire AKP High-Performance Polymer partial denture frameworks. This course will include a PowerPoint presentation and a hands-on demonstration. The lecture will cover the design and placement of an Ultaire framework on the cast.
For the hands-on portion of the course, Solvay will provide 12 casts and 6 pucks accommodating 2 frames per puck. At the conclusion of the presentation, the technicians are invited to take the frame and the cast to their laboratory so that they may process teeth to the Ultaire framework. The completed case can be used as a demo model to promote Ultaire AKP to their clients.
After attending this course, the attendee should feel confident with all aspects of designing and fitting Ultaire frameworks.

Bio:
Jim has been very active on the lecture circuit over the past sixteen years. This year marks Jims 40th year as a CDT. He has presented lectures and hands-on clinics, accredited for Continuing Education hours, at various venues throughout the United States, Canada, Germany, The U.K., and Ukraine. Jim is also a visiting instructor at the Harvard Dental School of Medicine. He is a consultant and lecturer for several companies in the industry and Is working for Solvay Dental 360 at present. Since 2013, he has served as Master of Ceremonies, featured lecturer and moderator of panel discussion for the Spectrum Day Removable Symposium in Chicago. He is an Advisory Board Member for Spectrum Dialogue and has written numerous articles on a wide variety of topics that have been published in Spectrum, as well as articles that have appeared in other industry publications.
