Marlin Gohn, CDT, TE (Technologist):
Marlin graduated from the Dental Arts College in San Jose California with a degree in Dental Technology. After graduation, he worked as a Dental Technician for 25 years in California. After a few years, he established and grew his own laboratory for 17 years. Marlin received his CDT in Ceramics in 1979 through the National Board of Certification. In 1997, he joined one of the largest dental laboratories in the U.S. as a Team Leader. He focused on quality, consistency, doctor retention, and reducing remakes through regular and in-depth training of his technicians. Marlin was promoted to Division Manager in charge of all crown and bridge cases, implants cases and removable cases. He was then promoted to Regional General Manager of the Western Division. In his expanded role, his main focus was on Business Development. Marlin organized many international seminars focusing on new industry trends and how to take advantage of all the technology innovations.
He joined the Argen team as a technical education manager in 2009. He has traveled extensively nationally and internationally for educational lectures, demonstrations of new products and advanced training sessions to help laboratories thrive in today’s ever-changing market place. In his free time, Marlin enjoys surfing, deep-sea fishing, hunting and traveling.
